It’s not fun.

Hi, I’m Takara. I’m a mom just like you.

I’m have three girls under seven. I’m the Owner of FIT4MOM Honolulu; and meal prepping is my jam!

I began meal-prepping because I was on the mama struggle bus.  After the birth of my third child and purchasing a FIT4MOM franchise, I no longer had the time (or the desire) to spend hours in the kitchen, every day, preparing food for my family.

When planning for a business trip to Tokyo, my husband arranged to have batches of pre-cooked meals delivered via a local meal prep service, while he was away (Bless him!)

We used the meal prep service for about two months, and while it was convenient (yet expensive), what my family really wanted, was food prepared by me.

So, I began filling up the leftover delivery service containers with my own cooking and it was a big hit with my family. I’ve been meal prepping healthy meals ever since.

And, I’ve introduced hundreds of moms in Honolulu to meal prepping through my mom fitness business.

I was even featured on USA Today’s, Mom Bod Series for my meal prepping skills.  (Watch the Video:

So, you know. I’m not a random mom with a blog about meal prep. I’ve got some street cred when it comes to meal prepping for moms.

Easy Meal Prep Recipe: Savory Beef with Steamed Veggies

Today, I felt like crap all day. I thought it was allergies, but after the body chills kicked in, I’m suspecting it’s more than allergies.

I still managed to cook ahead for the weekend and created this simple savory beef and steamed veggies meal. It’s so simple and flavorful, and doesn’t even require seasoning.  It’s the perfect easy meal prep recipe for beginners. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
